The Psychedelic Sixties - A revolution in music, art, film, fashion, style and social consciousness inspired innovative ways of looking at and living in our world - a new Renaissance was born. ROCK music became the most important medium for defining and fusing the new found aesthetic. From The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Doors, The Who and Bob Dylan, rock music became the inspirational voice for the new order of sweeping change.
Symphonic Rock Experience is a world-class rock ensemble and orchestra performing rock classics from the late 60’s to the early 70’s creating an adventurous alternate reality with the added dimension of epic orchestral arrangements enhancing the originals. A kaleidoscopic musical experience and celebration taking the audience on an amazing journey... a unique rock-n-roll experience they will not soon forget.
The creative team and core band members come from the Mystic Orchestra’s Flashback – The Classic Rock Experience, an arena tour that received rave reviews in its limited run in the fall of 2008 and proved there is a broad audience demographic ranging from baby-boomers to teens, spanning all socio-economic groups. This newly formed incarnation provides a scalable live production that can be customized for everything from a Casino Showroom to an Arena.
“It was certainly a sight to behold, perhaps the single best sounding show I’ve ever heard…” – Jim Reed, Connect Savannah.

The educational workshop branch of Symphonic Rock Experience (SRE) creates an innovative bridge between the foundations of classical and academic training with the wide world of contemporary music and technology. We serve students of all ages in discovering the wondrous world of electrified instruments and technology enhancements, improvisation, composition and performance for the 21st century. Headed by Terry Glenny, classically and electronically trained, but extremely eclectic, acoustic and electric violinist and violist, composer and arranger; he is joined by Adam Troughear, drummer for SRE and also classically trained with additional training in the recording arts and a leading drummer and percussionist in Australia and Los Angeles, California.
SRE's outreach program addresses classically trained symphony musicians who are in need of expanding musical and career horizons and options in a radically changing musical world. But the program also encourages the inclusion of all interested musicians in the school community, regardless of background and training, with the result that they may become excited and enlightened as to the importance and reward of becoming a part of your music department.
This is a unique opportunity to bring leading music industry talent in contact with students for an inspiring interaction that will definitely motivate them. Through SRE's exciting transformative musical events, the heart and soul of your students find an expanded interconnectivity with their instruments. They will discover new tools and techniques to further their self expression in ways they had never imagined.
