The Moipei vocal trio ~ Mary, Maggy, and Marta ~ originally from Nairobi, Kenya, presents a program that is as unique as their talents. They interpret some well-known selections from the American Songbook and dazzle with their illuminating take on Broadway, new and old. Throw in a dash of Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman to swing, a flash of pop to provoke, then cash it all in with some gospel for salvation. Add a traditional Swahili children's song to bring it all back home.

“Beautiful, harmonious voices that brought me to tears, their vocal blend is like I have never heard before... WOW!” -Stephen Schwartz ~ Oscar, Golden Globe, Grammy, Tony Award Winner, Composer/Lyricist/Producer/Director/Author

"The Nairobi imports conquered the New York City cabaret scene in less than a week... "The simple and economic truth is that The Moipei Triplets sound sensational when they sing - at times mind-blowing, others endearing, but always, always enjoyable, something that originates with the actual sound of each individual voice being presented within their three-part harmonies. Each of the ladies is possessing of a voice that carries with it a rich, full-bodied, bold sound; that might sound like a description for a fine wine and, in many ways, these voices are rather like a great vintage bevvie, filled with character, uniqueness, texture, and totally intoxicating." - Stephen Mosher,, Nov. 5, 2021
