Kathy Halenda presents two one-woman shows: Brassy Broads Broadway Musical Tribute to the Woman Who Put Broad into Broadway and Sophie Tucker: The Last of the Red Hot Mamas. Ms. Halenda has performed in close to 200 productions, including 16 national tours, where her roles included Nancy in Oliver, Mae West in Ziegfeld, Raffaela in Grand Hotel, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof and Maggie Jones in 42nd St. She has played New York City, Washington D.C., Boston, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Montreal, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, and a lot of towns in between.
She recently completed playing Mabel on the national tour of Pajama Game and starred as Mama Rose on the national tour of Gypsy. Her latest regional role was, once again, the title role in Mame, and before that she was the first female Singmaster of the Big Apple Circus, touring the United States east coast, including the Lincoln Center in New York City, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Boston.
