TODD MOSBY is a guitarist, composer, and improvisor who has mastered multiple musical forms; classical, jazz, and Indian raga. An award-winning visionary who considers every facet of creativity, Mosby has scored his music for symphonies, authored four books on guitar technique, and is integral to the advancement of the Imrat Guitar. Mosby is also the only guitarist to become a member of the famed Imdhad Khani Gharana of sitar musicians, India's Royal family of music.

Open Waters is Todd's fifth album. Once again, this recording finds Todd embarking on a creative journey navigating through elements of Jazz, New Age, Folk, and Indian music. This CD received a 2019 ZMR Award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. Todd's most recent CD, Aerial Views, was released in August 2020.

During the 2021-22 season, the Mosby New Horizons Group will tour as a 4-piece band. Additional musicians may be requested by presenting organizations that have larger venues.

Concerts include seductive original compositions, toe-tapping tunes, and the occasional song from classic singer/songwriters such as Joni Mitchel, James Taylor, and Neil Young. At the evening’s end, Mosby’s moving and unique musical vision leave the audience inspired and fulfilled.

Grammy nominated/winning performers are featured within this award winning ensemble delivering performances which dazzle and “wow” audiences.
